Hi Everyone,
For those of you who don't me, my name is Ciaran McMullan and I live in the village of Ballymartin just outside Kilkeel in Co Down.
In May myself along with 30 others took part in Trek Egypt in a bid to raise funds for Action Cancer. Action Cancer is a leading Northern Ireland charity providing lifesaving cancer prevention, early detection and support services and always keeping in mind that early detection saves lives.
It is frightening to admit that everybody has a relative or a friend who has suffered from Cancer. Recent statistics as shown that 1 in every 4 people will be diagnosed with cancer and 1 in 3 will die from cancer. That's why it is so important to provide funds to combat this terrible disease. For Action Cancer to carry on with their life saving duties they must raise a massive £3.6 million every year.
