Hi Everyone,
For those of you who don't me, my name is Ciaran McMullan and I live in the village of Ballymartin just outside Kilkeel in Co Down.
In May, myself along with 30 others took part in Trek Egypt in a bid to raise funds for Action Cancer. Action Cancer is a leading Northern Ireland charity providing lifesaving cancer prevention, early detection and support services and always keeping in mind that early detection saves lives.
Trek Egypt was a hard and tough challenge for us all with plenty of high and low points along the way, you can read all about it by clicking on the Trek Egypt page, you can also view photographs from our challenge by clicking on the Gallery page. I hope that it will inspire you to get out there and do a challenge like this and raise money for your chosen charity, while having an unforgettable experience along the way.
With the help and support of my family and friends I raised £4700. Thank you to the generosity of everyone that made a donation and for giving me plenty of Moral support throughout the campaign. As a group we managed to raise a grand total of £85,000. This will be a huge help to Action Cancer to continue their work to save lives.
